Simon Grodentz – Gloucestershire


Simon started Gfitness Back in 2008.

Simon runs exercise sessions in Gloucestershire and works on many of our training programs. He is a fully qualified personal trainer and postural stability instructor.

Matthew Harris – Gloucestershire


Matthew specialises in fall prevention, community classes and exercise with the elderly. Matthew also runs group fitness sessions for our Bootcamps.

Tanya Gennaio – Gloucestershire


Tanya specialises in chair based exercise classes in care and nursing homes as well as in the community. She can also supply Massage Therapy whether it be in Care or nursing homes or for individual clients.

Sarah Burford – Gloucestershire


Sarah Is an experienced member of the Gfitness team with a history in personal training. She is also a qualified lower back specialist.

Sarah Is our main supplier of exercise for people with learning disabilities in care and nursing homes throughout Gloucestershire.

Megan Lavill – Worcestershire


Megan has a Degree in Sports Management. Whilst studying she found her love for working with older adults and worked on a scheme that focussed on increasing participation in activities of people aged 55 and over. After graduating Megan worked as an activities coordinator in a care home which she loved, as she found great satisfaction in helping residents find enjoyment whilst taking part in activities and feel like they still have purpose. Her attitude, experience and overall love for the elderly really does come across in her sessions.

Meg can provide exercise for older adults in care and nursing homes either as a group or as a 1 to 1 session.

Lea Pedro – Herefordshire


Lea has experience in previous roles working with older adults and people with disabilities before joining Gfitness.

Lea works mainly within care and nursing homes for older adults and people with disabilities but is a qualified personal trainer and can provide one to one and group fitness sessions for all abilities.

Lauren Ellaway – Oxfordshire


Lauren is a qualified Fitness Instructor and Chair Based Exercise Instructor based in Oxfordshire.

Lauren specialises in Chair Based Exercise for residents in care and nursing homes and has a passion for all things fun, this comes in handy to get everyone motivated and involved during her classes.

Rachel Cook – Oxfordshire/ Wiltshire


Rachel has many years of experience working in the care industry before becoming a Gfitness instructor in south west Oxfordshire and north Wiltshire.

Rachel runs chair based exercise classes with older adults in care and nursing homes.


Jess Edmonds – West Midlands


Jess works mainly within care and nursing homes for people with disabilities and older adults. She is also a qualified personal trainer and can provide one to one and group classes for all abilities.

Joshua Foster – West Midlands


Joshua’s background in fitness comes from playing and coaching Rugby League and Rugby Union at county standard. Josh has experience running personal training sessions both within gyms and at client’s homes. He has a Level 3 qualification in Personal Training, a Level 4 qualification in Massage and is currently studying for a BSc in Strength and Conditioning.

Josh believes that exercise should be for everyone no matter their ability and enjoys the variety and challenge that this job brings. Josh can provide group or one to one exercise sessions and massage for residents and staff alike.

Rebecca Law – Bristol


Becky specialises in chair based exercise classes for the elderly in Bristol . She can also offer hair dressing and beauty treatment services for the homes she visits too.

Ali Smith – Bristol


Ali is our Bristol based instructor.

She is a Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer and Chair Based Exercise Instructor. Ali can provide exercise for older adults and people with disabilities

Michael Stockman – South Devon


Mike has been involved in sports and fitness from an early age and has been part of a variety of sports teams over the years.

Mike’s experience in the fitness industry has included teaching swimming and leading fitness classes as well as personal training, he is now working with Gfitness to focus his experience in exercise within care and nursing homes for older adults and people with disabilities.

Rhys Cox – Newport/Cardiff


Rhys has always been an active person and found his passion for health and fitness in 2014 when he studied to become a Level 3 Personal Trainer. Rhys has spent much of his working life working with people with physical and mental disabilities in support and activity-based jobs. He is currently studying a QCF in health and social care with children and adults specifying in learning disabilities.

Rhys decided that he wanted a more physical role and become a Gfitness Instructor. Rhys can provide exercise on a one to one bases and as a group and works with care and nursing homes for older adults and people with disabilities.

Rebecca Evans – East Glamorgan


Rebecca is an experienced  Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Chair Based Exercise Instructor working within Cardiff and Caerphilly care and nursing homes.


James Norris – Blaenau Gwent/Rhondda Cynon Taff


James’ passion for the fitness industry came after an interest in his own personal fitness. He decided that he would like to help others the way he was helped to achieve his goals. By getting qualified as Level 3 Personal Trainer and Chair Eased Exercise Instructor he has been able to do this.

James decided to steer his career towards helping people living in care and nursing homes because he feels that he wants to make a difference to these people’s lives. By providing fun and stimulating exercise sessions he can help to make them feel included in the community and improve their health and wellbeing too.

Carolien Legemaat – Wiltshire


Carolien is our Wiltshire based instructor, she has experience working in a variety of roles in the care sector and is a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer.

Carolien is available to run exercise classes for people with disabilities, older adults and can also run classes in the community.

Kelly Norman – Somerset


Kelly is our Somerset based instructor, she has experience working in the care industry with older adults and people with learning disabilities. She later decided to retrain as a Level 3 Personal Trainer.

Kelly can provide Chair Based Exercise for the elderly and people with disabilities as well as other group sessions for fully abled adults. She can Also provide one to one sessions if required.

Simon Wooldridge – West Berkshire


Simon has always had a passion for the health and fitness industry. With over 20 years’ experience in dance.

Simon graduated from The University of Winchester with a Sports Science Degree After which he went on to focus on Leisure Management for 9 years, during that period he achieved a Level 3 in Personal Training and GP Referral and Exercise. Simon works with older adults and people with disabilities.

Claire Moylan – South Hampshire


Claire has much experience working with people with disabilities and spinal injuries during her time living in Australia, managing and delivering programs to promote independence and social inclusion in the community.

With an interest in Cross Fit and Weight Lifting, she has competed with success in several amateur competitions. This inspired her to complete her Personal Training qualification and work in the fitness industry so that she can combine her two passions in life, helping others and fitness.

Claire can provide Personal Training and Group Exercise for older adults and people with disabilities in care and nursing homes across the south of Hampshire.

Richard Strawn – North Hampshire


Richard has experience specialising in GP Exercise Referral and has worked along side Cardiac Rehabilitation Programmes. He is also a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist.

Along with this Richard is currently offering Chair Based Exercise for residents in care and nursing homes and exercise sessions for people with disabilities.

Amanda Harvey – Northamptonshire


Amanda is qualified in Personal Training and Chair Based Exercise. She is also a qualified Nutritional Advisor for weight management and sports and exercise.

Amanda can supply care and nursing homes with Chair Based Exercise classes for residents, one to one sessions and even Pilates exercises for those who are looking to improve their core strength for all ages including those with learning or physical disabilities across Northamptonshire.

Michelle Knopp – North West Kent


Michelle began teaching Dance and Swimming to children and adults of varying abilities when she was 14 and has been helping others to enjoy a healthy lifestyle ever since.

She is a fully qualified Exercise to Music Instructor, Secondary School Teacher of Physical Education and a Pre-Associate Dance Teacher, and loves to incorporate all elements of music, dance and sport into her sessions so that the participants enjoy being active as much as possible.

Timothy Billings – South East London


After graduating from university with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Tim went on to become a Personal Trainer which has seen him work with members of the Police and Fire service, people with Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy to helping new mums recover from caesarean sections and helping others to lose weight to be able to undergo their required surgery.

Tim has completed the London Marathon, raising thousands of pounds and was featured on the BBC. He is now focusing his work with Gfitness to people in care and nursing homes weather it be with older adults or people with disabilities.

Thisbe Neame – South Hampshire

Coming from a background in beauty and leisure with over 25 years experience, Thisbe has worked aboard cruise ships as a celebrity nail technician for Disney and as a gym coordinator. Thisbe is a qualified level 3 personal trainer and chair-based exercise instructor and continues to study alongside working for Gfitness so that she can widen her range of services she can offer.

Thisbe has experience looking after people with disabilities and can offer chair-based exercise and massage for people living in care and nursing homes.

Christopher Craddock – West Midlands


Chris has spent time at Nottingham Forest and Port Vale playing football at professional level and swam at county level for Staffordshire, he has a vast sporting background varying from full contact kick boxing, karate, triathlons, water skiing, rock climbing and many more, both competitively and recreationally.

Chris has taught NVQ and VRQ fitness related courses within schools and the local community and has over 20 years’ experience as a Personal Trainer. Chris has helped many clients with the rehabilitation to recover from a variety of injuries and illnesses. He can now offer one to one and class exercise/therapy sessions for the care and nursing sector with Gfitness.
