Gfitness has been running in the UK since 2008, providing exercise sessions in care homes and in the community. Over the years, the business has grown due to the high demand for the quality service we deliver which has created an excellent reputation across the country.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic people to join our team of instructors, providing health and happiness through a fun and varied exercise program to people living in care across the UK.

Opportunities are on a self-employed and sub-contracted basis, with hours to suit the instructor. If you are new to exercise instruction or have been doing it for years, our mentoring system and training providers will help you.

Full time and part time opportunities are available including the option to choose your working days and hours.

CANDIDATES WILL NEED

Have a valid driving license and vehicle as you will need to travel to various locations around where you are based and transport a significant amount of equipment with you.

Must have a DBS fit for purpose allowing you to work within the care setting.

Minimum Level 2 qualification in fitness instruction or equivalent and a good level of experience and knowledge of health and fitness.

Be friendly, energetic and passionate about exercise and helping people living in care get the most out of life.

Will need to be organised and be able to manage your own schedule.

Be confident to be able to deliver a session in front of groups of variable sizes. You will also need to be capable and confident to work in care settings and successfully engage with the various challenges this can include.

Must have availability between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 on your choice of days you want to work.

Gfitness has an assessment process which will allow candidates to assess their own suitability for a role with us as well as giving us a chance to consider the suitability of the candidate.

 

Following a successful assessment; Gfitness will provide you with a team of support staff to help train and prepare you for your work within care homes in your local area.
