Simon Wooldridge - West Berkshire

Simon has always had a passion for the health and fitness industry. With over 20 years’ experience in dance.

Simon graduated from The University of Winchester with a Sports Science Degree After which he went on to focus on Leisure Management for 9 years, during that period he achieved a Level 3 in Personal Training and GP Referral and Exercise. Simon works with older adults and people with disabilities.

Sara Taylor - Southampton

Sara has worked as a personal trainer since 2008. With a qualification in Exercise and Disability she has experience working with people of all abilities and ages.

 

With a diverse client group, Sara keeps her sessions up to date with the latest chair-based exercises along with using creativity to ensure that her sessions are varied, engaging and fun. Sara can provide exercise for care and nursing homes for people with disabilities and older adults.

Gemma Hall - Southampton

Gemma qualified in Advanced Health Related Fitness in 2000 and has been teaching and training adults and adolescents in the fitness industry and in education settings since then.

 

In 2006 Gemma turned her focus to training older adults and vulnerable adults when she realised this is where her main passion and expertise lies, working with people with severe mental illness, complex needs and learning difficulties, Gemma has the expertise and experience to ensure safe and effective sessions.

 

Gemma holds a wide and vast range of fitness and disability qualifications and can provide group exercise sessions, chair based, one on one sessions and massage, both in homes and in the community.

Antony Passmore - South West Hampshire

Antony Passmore

Antony has 20 years experience as a secondary school teacher, specialising in Physical Education and has worked with a wide range of age groups and with people with a variety or different disabilities. His more recent work has been in the care sector including domiciliary care, supported living with people with learning disabilities and residential care with people with dementia, as a support worker and activity coordinator.

Antony Is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and has Level 3 GP referral therefore can work with clients with chronic illness. Antony believes being active at some level should be accessible to anyone no matter their Ability and is essential to maintaining a good quality of life both physically and emotionally. 

Lucie Collins - East Sussex

I've always been passionate about health and fitness which led me to qualify as a Fitness Instructor and a Personal Trainer. In addition to this I also have a Chair Based Exercise qualification. I've held many group sessions and have clients I train on a 1-1 basis.

 

I absolutely love helping people improve their fitness level. It puts a big smile on my face and theirs.

Whatever your age or ability you can still keep active and have fun through exercise.

Emma Dolby - Brighton, East Sussex

Emma has always been passionate about health and fitness. She believes helping others stay fit and healthy is such an important role as exercise has so many benefits, physically and emotionally. It helps lead to a happy and positive life. Emma is also a qualified yoga teacher and has a diploma in nutrition and sports nutrition.

Working with older and vulnerable adults feels to her like such a blessing. She loves the fact it has so many benefits from a health point of view but also for the fun and enjoyment aspect it brings.

Jane Hua - SE London/NW Kent

Jane has been in the Fitness industry for since 2010. She started her fitness career as a Gym Instructor in a Leisure centre and then moved to teaching a variety of group exercise classes which she is extremely passionate about including Zumba, Aqua classes, HIIT and many more. Jane is also qualified in Chair Based Exercises, Level 3 Health Trainer and Level 2 Nutrition and has experience teaching fitness to adults with learning disabilities.

Jane is now focused on working in Care and Nursing homes with Gfitness helping residents to stay fit and healthy through fun, effective, motivating and gentle Chair Based Exercise classes with her bubbly personality.

Loren Fuell- East Kent

Loren has worked in the fitness industry since 2016 when she trained in Sport ad Exercise Science. She has since gained qualifications while teaching Physical Education in Primary Schools where she qualified in Dance, Gymnastics and Football. She has also Gained qualifications in Aerial Fitness disciplines and teaches a wide range of adults in these classes, She has competed and placed in many competitions from a very young age within these areas.

 

Loren absolutely loves working in the fitness industry delivering classes and is very excited to be a part of the Gfitness Team.

Nicola Browning - North-East Kent

Nicola has achieved many health and fitness related qualifications, from Health and Fitness Instructor Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Health and Fitness, Diploma in Fitness and Sports Therapy to Exercise for Seniors, GP referral, Exercise to Music, Management of Sports Injuries, Personal Training and massage to name a few.

Nicola has worked in a hospital as a physio assistant where amongst her other duties she helped run rehabilitation classes for injuries and knee replacements, she also helped run exercise classes in the hydrotherapy pool for various conditions and walked and advised patients after knee and hip operations. In her spare time Nicola enjoys yoga.

Mary Allen - North East Kent

Mary is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a career spanning 15 years, specialising in neurological rehabilitation.


Mary started out at Bristol General Hospital working on the Stroke unit and delivering falls prevention and Parkinson's Disease group exercise classes. She has worked in the NHS for a number of years in wheelchair services and intermediate care, most recently leading a team to promote independence and quality of life for people with a wide range of chronic health conditions and those recovering from recent serious illness and hospitalisation.


Mary is a qualified massage therapist. She also runs her own home baking business.

Henry Adekoya - West Kent

Henry is a keen fitness and sports enthusiast and has enjoyed playing Inline Hockey at a national level for team GB. With 25 years in the fitness industry, Henry has a wealth of experience. 

 

Henry has compiled fun fitness sessions for primary school kids, teenagers and families, competitive sessions for fitness enthusiasts, business men and women, plus restorative training, body conditioning, rehabilitation and maintenance for mature adults. Henry feels that working in care homes will offer a new dimension to his experience and training sessions, sessions that will ultimately help and enhance the well-being of elderly participants in care homes and in doing so be very rewarding to himself.
